A thoughtfully planned, ducted reverse-cycle system should keep your entire home at the optimal temperature all year round.

We offer over 40 years industry experience and the complete range of ducted air-conditioning systems from world leading brands; Fujitsu, Daikin, Braemar and Haier.

What is Ducted Reverse-cycle Air conditioning?
A ducted reverse-cycle system includes ducting located inside the roof space, ceiling vents, an outdoor unit, indoor unit and thermostat that measures room temperatures.
Reverse-cycle air conditioning works via a compressor inside the outdoor unit that pumps refrigerant to an indoor coil and either warms the coil up or cools it down, depending on if the system is in heating or cooling mode. As the fan draws the air in through the return air grille, it is filtered, drawn into the unit through the coil, then distributed through the outlets into your home. Once the system reaches desired temperature, the compressor will automatically slow down systems, and increase them as needed, to continuously maintain the desired temperature.
This enables a reverse-cycle system to offer a consistent temperature, independent of ambient conditions, and is a key advantage of reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Because of this precision temperature control, reverse cycle systems can also be zoned. This means different rooms can be set to different air flows at the same time, to suit the preferences of occupants.
Another important advantage is the ability of reverse-cycle to offer both heating and cooling modes, meaning you can rely on the one system for year-round comfort.
Ducted Reverse-cycle is an excellent option if you want:
- A single system for whole-home heating and cooling.
- Precise and convenient temperature control.
- Ability to individually adjust the temperature of different rooms or zones.
- System efficiency across all seasons.
Is Ducted Reverse-cycle right for my home?
Benefits
-
System automatically adjusts and maintains the temperature of your entire home at the touch of a button.
-
System operates efficiently even when it is humid outside.

-
Smart air-conditioning options - Adjust temperatures and set timers even when you're not home. Track power usage and optimise settings from your mobile device.
-
Available with zoning control - set different temperatures in each area of your home to suit individual preferences.
Considerations
-
Potential for pollen and allergens - system draws in air from outside to heat or cool, then continues to recirculate this same air throughout the home. In the case of asthma or allergic reactions filters must be cleaned regularly.
-
Doors and windows should be closed while the system is in operation for optimal performance. If access to fresh, outside air is a priority, we recommend considering ducted evaporative cooling.
-
Operates to significantly reduce humidity resulting in dry indoor air. This may not be suitable for some respiratory conditions.
