Description
The Convector Built-in fireplace offers a sleek and minimalistic appearance to suit contemporary homes. Its design includes a one-piece, linear fascia and discreet flush fittings.
But don’t be deceived by its restrained appearance – this wood heater boasts impressive heating abilities, warming up to 232sq/m thanks to its over-sized firebox, large firebox opening and two-speed fan.
The Convector is also available in a freestanding model with a pedestal base.
Inclusions (for new and std installations)*:
- 4m Flue Kit including;
- 3 lengths of stainless single flue
- 1 metre stainless flexi-flue
- cowl and chimney cover 450x450mm
- Metallic Black, heat treated surface finish
*Heater only price also available when existing flue or alternative flue selection is being used.
All Jarrahdale Wood Heaters are made in Australia to strict Australian Standards using locally-sourced steel. Our fireboxes are made using 6mm and 8mm solid steel.
Selections
Surface Finishes
Jarrahdale Wood Heaters are made from solid mild steel and heat painted. Four stylish colours are available, each with a satin matt finish:
All wood heaters include the Metallic Black finish as a standard inclusion. Metallic Blue, Goldfire Brown and Titanium are available as an optional extra.
Hearth Selection
When installing a wood heater onto timber or a carpeted floor, a hearth is required for heat protection. We offer an attractive, solid hearth finished with natural stone tiles and a deep timber frame.
Hearth tiles are available in a range of attractive surface finishes and timber trims to suit your wood heater and home interior.

Customisations
Every fireplace wood heater from Jarrahdale Heating and Cooling is locally manufactured and made-to-order. This allows us to offer a range of customisations to suit your home and ensure the very best fit.
Common customisations include:
Flue Placement
Move the standard flue centre backwards, to line-up with your existing chimney centre.
Fascia Size
If the standard fascia sizes are not ideal for your existing fireplace opening, we can manufacture a custom-fascia to fit.
Fan Power Cord
Position the power cord to suit the location and distance of the closest power point. The fan power cord can protrude from the left or the right side of the heater and can be extended to avoid the use of extension cords.
Custom Chimney Covers
All chimneys are different and sometimes the standard chimney cover is too small. We can manufacture the correct chimney cover to suit your home.
